Ray Kurzweil is a futurist and a visionary. His theories on the role of technological advancement in the future span the fields of Artificial intelligence (AI), robotics and nano technology. The commentary he suggests on these advancements entail the use of such technologies in multiple efforts to benefit mankind, from overcoming poverty by genetically creating new food resources, counteracting aging and disease by inserting chips smaller than our fingernails into our bodies to regenerate dying cells, and robots that will move and calculate things faster than us.
